Hanson Santoso

To be successful in this role, a passion for mathematics and gaming is necessary as we work extensively with numbers.

What's your job about?

I am a Graduate Game Designer within the OZ Games Studios team at Aristocrat. My day to day activities include designing and developing games.

I work with numbers every day to analyse existing and new games to ensure quality products are produced for our customers.

What's your background?

During high school, I was always been passionate in mathematics which led me to pursuing it further in university.

Before I started with Aristocrat, I was a middle office associate at Hedgeserv and working casually at MYER.

Could someone with a different background do your job?

To be successful in this role, a passion for mathematics and gaming is necessary as we work extensively with numbers. Another trait is that we need to be able to think creatively to design and improve games.

What's the coolest thing about your job?

I love being tested and challenged every day while having a fun working atmosphere. Working alongside industry-leading experts in the field also helps me to grow exponentially and perform at my best.

What are the limitations of your job?

The Graduate Program is being revised for 2019, which will give the schedule a more solid and relevant structure.

It would be interesting to see how other studios within Aristocrat operate, as I think this would increase our depth of understanding and allow us to share ideas.
