Position Summary
This is an opportunity to be a part of Bain’s Middle East, Centre of Expertise (CoE) team, based out of Gurugram office and specifically support Bain APAC EMEA Energy & Resources (ENR) case teams with client work and proposal support.
Core Responsibilities
We are looking for a candidate who is a self-starter, result-oriented, with hands-on experience in strategy development, cost projects, benchmarking, competitive assessment, advanced analytics, and modeling pertaining to ENR, particularly the O&G sector.
The role would require the candidate to hit the ground running in a fast-growth environment. The role would require willingness and the ability to take initiative and learn independently.
The candidate should be currently working in a strategy consulting/research-oriented setup with a key focus on the ENR sector and possess the acumen to solve open-ended problems from an analytical standpoint
Able to quickly come up to speed on different businesses and perform research and analysis
Proficient in research and analytics, but able to provide solid business judgment to derive answers in situations where data is not easily available or explicitly published.
Able to interface with primary client contact (Bain case teams from any global office).
May have first-level team management responsibility which involves allocating and reviewing work to a small team of analysts and conducting performance discussions, writing reviews for appraisal
May manage simple cases consistently and independently.
Provide content thought leadership and team management
Qualification
The candidate should be a Graduate from a top-tier College with strong academic records and 12-24 months of experience in analytical consulting for ENR clients.
Candidates should possess excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and team player skills; ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Should with data visualization experience in Tableau, Alteryx tools will be preferred.
Prior experience in similar analytical/consulting roles oriented to ENR consulting may be an added advantage.
