Follow proper security protocol while developing software and use the OWASP top 10 lists to protect against common vulnerabilities.
Review code written by fellow colleagues, actively participate in pair programming, mob programming, and similar coding practices.
Develop new features and infrastructure development in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements.
Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design.
Assume leadership of new projects from conceptualization to deployment
Debug production and development issues with other members of the team quickly
Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment.
Engage with inspiring designers and front-end engineers, and collaborate with leading back-end engineers as we create reliable APIs.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field.
You hold yourself to a high bar of craftsmanship
You possess strong Computer Science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems.
You’ve some exposure to building large-scale financial systems professionally and can point to things you’ve worked on.
Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of Java/Go, React/Angular, and Javascript/TypeScript.
Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
Unit/integration testing experience.
You write code that can be easily understood by others with an eye towards clarity and maintainability.
You are a very strong communicator. You are excited to explain complex technical concepts and share your knowledge with different audiences.
You are curious about how things work. When some code breaks, you are eager and able to help fix it
