He Waka Eke Noa | Creating Great Together
A summer internship with BNZ Markets is a chance to discover more about yourself, about BNZ and the many career paths available within financial markets.

We're looking for high achieving university students with a passion for financial markets. You have the opportunity to work with NZ's largest and most influential businesses by joining our Markets team.

Te Kaiurungi | About the Role
During our internship, you'll get exposure to a wide range of markets disciplines across our Wellington and Auckland offices. From money market and foreign exchange trading to client relationship management and research you'll get to work with a team of people who'll support, coach and inspire you to reach your potential.

Life at BNZ isn't just about the work you do, it's also about the people you connect with and how we collaborate across our Organization to enable a high achieving New Zealand. In our Markets team you'll be presented with macro-economic forces, movements in interest-rates, currency and commodity markets and learn about how we provide leading-edge solutions for our clients. We've designed the experience to give you a chance to develop your skills and knowledge and help you decide if financial markets is the career for you.

      Ō Pūkenga | About You
We don't mind what you're studying as long as you're curious, open-minded and keen to learn. You'll be someone who always brings your A-game, who can think from a range of perspectives, and who asks lots of questions.

      Your application
Your cover letter needs to help us get to know you and why you want this opportunity. Show us your strong academic record and something you're proud of outside of university. You could also highlight how your extra-curricular activities have helped you develop teamwork, problem solving and leadership skills.

Applications close 11:55pm on Sunday 15 August and must be fully completed. We encourage you to check carefully before you submit.
