Working for Findex, I have felt like I am part of a family. The culture within this organisation is so welcoming, and I love the flexibility of the dynamic working model. Each day can vary but the outline below is a standard day for me. 

5.00 AM – 5.45 AM

With the beautiful sound of chirping birds, the pleasant sunrise, and the not so fun alarm, I wake up quickly. Contrary to the popular norm, I shoot out of bed within a minute of the alarm sound. 

I spend this time grabbing my first and only cup of black coffee and take a few minutes reflecting on how I am feeling. Followed by this comes brushing my teeth and changing into my gym clothes.

5.45 AM - 7.00 AM

I spend this time doing my gym workout and try to go five or six days a week depending on my goals.

7.00 AM - 7.30 AM  

This 30-minute window is my time to shower and get ready for the day.

7.30 AM - 8.30 AM 

There are one of three paths my day could embark upon. I could visit a client site, work from the office, or work from home. Today, while commuting, I either listen to music or a podcast.

8.30 AM - 5.00 PM 

Every day is different working in an external audit. Today I am travelling to the town of Childers to review the half-yearly accounts of a nearby sugar mill factory. 

During the day, I took a tour of the sugar mill factory and explored the nearby landscaped the day as pictured Fun fact: The sugar mill factory we were reviewing has been around since the 1800s and supplies sugar to many countries around the globe! 

5.00 PM - 6.00 PM

I either finish the podcast on my commute back home or take some time to switch off from work mode into relaxation mode as it is important to find a work-life balance. 

6.00 PM - 9.30 PM 

During this time, I either catch up with friends for dinner, watch a Netflix show, attend acting lessons (a side hobby of mine), cook dinner, or read a book on this day, since I am away from home in the town of Childers, I explored nearby cities out of a total of four nights of the week, I had visited Woodgate Beach, Bundaberg, and Harvey Bay.

9.30 PM - 10.30 PM 

I get into bed and unwind down from my day to try and get a solid night of rest, so I am ready to take on whatever tomorrow has in store.
