Working Hours at Meltwater Australia

8.6
8.6 rating for Working Hours, based on 19 reviews
How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
Our hours are 8.30-5.30. I find the company flexible when it comes to needing to deviate however the expectation is that you're working during those hours.

I work either 6 AM - 2 PM or 9 AM - 5 PM. Our contract with NSW Gov dictates these hours, however my team has been very flexible with the allocation of these times.

You work hard and play hard...if you want to succeed in the world, you need to be prepared to put in the effort. You can't expect to come to work for average hours a week and be promoted on that - you need to go over and beyond.

Very flexible. I work in isolation compared to the majority of the Australia employee base, but office hours are standard and flexible.

They are really great about taking leave and taking time out to go to doctors appointments etc.

8:30-5:30. Input = output in sales so you can't be allergic to hard work.

I don't stay late or am expected to work long hours, Meltwater encourages a work/life balance.

9-5:30, but often start 8-8:30 sometimes leave at 6, which is still fine. We have an hour for lunch to go to the gym, and can leave early or start late if we have something on.

On paper, 8:30 - 5:30. Busy times, especially towards the end of the month, it will increase.

8:30am to 5:30pm are office hours, the latest I will stay at the office when workload is high is approx 7:30pm. Definitely is a 24/7 job being a software provider, however all very manageable remotely. Consistent business travel as well, especially in my position but I love it.

Not really from what I've seen and a lot of that comes down to you actually needing to work the hours to complete everything. Would love a bit more flexibility with finishing times as I live so far away but also know that I need to work those hours to get everything done

Fairly - as long as you get your work done.

Flexible when needed however work hours are pretty standard

Really flexible. The leaders in the business are people too and if you need a day off there is no stress. People can take days off it family or friends are visiting town, need your NBN installed, or are sick and not need to worry about a doctors certificate. You get out what you put in the hours you work.
