Management at Santos

My team leader is great and my team leader's team leader is also great. I lose connection after there.

Direct managers are great, really supportive and insightful with sharing their learnings.

The general manager of my department is excellent and does a great job. The executive leadership appear to have a clear plan for the companies future strategically, but do not always make the best cultural policies. They are improving in the latter recently though

Manager has treated me fairly but I have had very little interaction with them (neutral feelings).

My direct leader is amazing and very focused on my development. He always stays up to date on what is going on and encourages me to enrol in as many training opportunities as they can. Everyone in leadership positions in my area are extremely approachable and always make time for me. My leader catches up with myself and my team members for coffee once a week to discuss not only our work, but how we are feeling and if there is anything that they can help us with.

The direct line managers that I have worked with have been excellent in supporting and mentoring me as a graduate.

Overall the managers I have had have been great people and always happy to help. When I need help they mostly point me to someone that is able to help me. The only issue I have had was lack of feedback from a performance review, but otherwise feeback and praise is generally good.

All managers have been readily accessible and communicate information well. Performance feedback can be a bit limited.

Team lead is extremely approachable where I feel comfortable asking any question regardless of the level of technicality. Higher-up managers, have not required contact with them just yet.

Managers, when they have the time to talk are very accessible and open to help where possible.

This is a very mixed bag. I have generally had good managers that area accessible and communicate well. I have heard different stories from other people. The reason I have scored this so lowly is that again, the disconnect between upper management is the ubiquitous problem.

My direct managers and team leaders are very supportive and helpful. Not only at work but also care about my off work life. My work and performance are recognised, and receive helpful feedbacks.

They all feel very supportive, though I don't feel as though I can speak to anyone other than my direct Team Leader, as everyone is quite busy.

Managers are good mentors - high skill level and approachable however they are very busy with their roles and appear to not have the time to have personal connection

EXCELLENT! The communication level either bottom-up or top-down is very efficient and relaxed. third-tier employees do not normally feel uncomfortable to communicate with the people up the ranks.

Mostly have weekly meetings via teams to discuss each person's tasks and how everyone is doing.

My direct managers are lovely people and genuinely care for all their staff, particularly the graduates, with an intent on helping graduates learn and progress their skills and abilities so that we can be as autonomous as possible at work. People like Andrew White and Marcia Evans should be commended on their work to make Santos a place where people want to work and not just have to work.

I am the only Santos employee individual contributor in my team, my manager is a contractor and he is not familiar or has any incentives to be aligned with my Santos performance review, etc. My current manager is accessible when required, I have high performing contractors around me who I consider as my mentors to guide me through.

Regular performance reviews, super approachable and always happy to make time for you.
