Who we are:

Vista Group brings more people together to experience the magic of movies and cinema by providing a platform solution that connects the industry and powers the moviegoer experience. We are a New Zealand company with a global footprint, providing an innovative range of complementary solutions across the film industry, from production and distribution to cinema exhibition through to the experience of the moviegoer.

Our People:

With more than 700 people across the globe our people are our most important asset. We are proud of our diversity and have placed a high priority on being an inclusive workplace that is reflective of our clients and the communities we serve. It is important to us to foster an environment that empowers people to realise their full potential. We aim to do ‘good things with good people’ and we’re proud to say that more than two decades on that’s exactly what we do every single day.

Grad & Intern Programme:

At Vista Group, we’re committed to giving you everything you need to do the best work of your life—and we’ll invest in you to make it happen. Through our intern and grad programs, you’ll jump right into hands-on learning, take charge of real projects, and have the chance to truly shape your future.

We believe YOU are the next generation of leaders at Vista Group, and we’re passionate about helping you grow. From building up your skills to exploring exciting new challenges, you’ll have the flexibility, support, and freedom to bring your ideas to life.

At Vista Group, we celebrate what makes each of us unique. We prioritise diversity and inclusion because we know our differences lead to better outcomes for everyone—our team and our customers. So, join us and let’s shape the future together!

Recruitment Process

Our application process involves two key steps. First, we’ll ask you to submit your CV and University Transcript. Our team will then carefully review your submission and if you’re successful, we’ll invite you to our assessment day, which takes place at our head office in Auckland. This day is both enjoyable and collaborative - a chance for us to learn more about you and for you to get to know us. It’s divided into two parts:

  1. Group Challenge: You’ll work alongside your peers, tackling a shared goal and competing against other teams.
  2. Speed Interviews: After a lunch break, you’ll have two short interviews with some of our Engineering Managers.

We’re looking for applicants who are motivated, passionate about the industry, and eager to make an impact in their own unique way!

Remuneration & Career Growth

The base salary range for graduates and interns is at the market rate.

We also offer a 4.5-day working week, with an R&R Friday, finishing at 1 PM throughout the business.

Our interns have a high chance they will be offered to stay at Vista Group after the programme has ended. There is no timeline to get promoted at Vista Group; if you are doing an amazing job then we will notice. Everything depends on the individual; showing skills and excelling at what you do will be recognized.

We have a salary review in December for our employees, which we match to the market.

Graduate Success Stories

  • Graduate stories
The coolest thing about my job is the satisfaction of completing a new feature and seeing it function correctly (with no errors), this is especially satisfying if the feature was being worked on for a while with tedious bugs.

I love the satisfaction I get when I finally fix a bug that has been bugging me for a couple of days, or when I get a feature up and running that I have been working on for a couple of weeks.
