Cultural & Linguistic Diversity at WM New Zealand

From Saturday, February 10th, we embrace the Year of the Dragon-a time symbolising good luck, strength, and power. Our Waste Management office in Auckland celebrated with a series of activities:

• Dragon Wishes - Our staff got creative with Post-It art by writing their New Year's wishes and goals on our dragon mural to represent the dragon's scales.
• Dragon Beard Candy - We demonstrated an ancient Chinese delicacy being made-a type of "Chinese cotton candy" with roots tracing back to the Han Dynasty.
• A changing face performance showcasing the artistry of Sichuan opera as performers showcase the traditional act.
